"ICE" at the Gaylord Texan

For the Kindergarten field trip we went to the Gaylord Texan for their ICE exhibit.

Imagine a 14,000 square foot structure, kept at 9 degrees, filled with two million pounds of hand-carved ICE! The ice will be carved into magical life-sized holiday monuments and sculptures by artisans from Harbin China.

Amazing!! Since it is 9 degrees they give you warm coats to wear. They worked pretty good but I needed a ski mask for my nose and face.

For the money, I thought there would be more, but I think they focused on quality, not quantity.

They had cute, rocking and roaring, and sliding!

They had the whole nativity scene including the Wise Men. And a Texan Santa you can see in my header.

I am leaving out quite a bit, so many pictures.... To put in a plug for the Gaylord's, they also have similar displays at their locations in Nashville, TN and Kissimmee, FL. Make the trip if you are close.

I have some other pictures that I will be using for my blog designs for wintery themes.
