One of My Many Gifts (Lucky chic, am I!)

We have been using my parents old Corel and some of Mark's old dishes. Knowing that Mark would like to have a say in what we got, I asked for some new dishes with a general theme of blue. Then he could make the final choice and we would all be happy. He ended up picking my favorite that goes with my kitchen decor even better than I thought.
We started with a white tile back splash with little blue accent tiles. With the help of my antiMIL, she helped me with some pepper canisters with a trim to match the tile.
The dishes we chose match with the blue fade theme, don't you think?

those are so beautiful, and they hold up pretty well too under regular use. My friends chose them as their wedding set, and they use them constantly. So nice!
