Crafty

One of the things I have not posted about is my somewhat recent interest in domesticated thangs. Recent being within the last year or so. I have learned crochet from my Mom and I am still learning sewing from my anti-MIL. I had thought about these things in the past, but never got to them and was never really interested.

My most recent project was made on Sunday. I took some old Texas t-shirts and made a "Game-day" purse. All in all it turned out pretty good and I will get better with the next one. I don't think it is deep enough. And I will go with the original pattern and use two different colored t-shirts.

My oldest was my model.

I found the patterns in this book (borrowed from my anti-MIL) and will be making more from it.
