Splashing Lesson

On Saturday we met some friends at Splash Station in Cleburne, TX. The park was small compared to others I have been to, but that was fine with us. A small slide for the little ones, two big ones for the big kids, diving boards, swimming pool, and my favorite - a lazy river. The girls were calling it crazy stream. And for $5 a person, you can't beat that!!!

I did learn a valuable lesson. Can you figure out what it is by looking at this picture of my shoulder? Answer in the extended entry below.

I learned that 5 and 6 year olds do not have the finger strength to get full coverage with continuous spray sunscreen. Can you see where they got it good and then it dripped? I have white drip lines and spots all over my back accented by the red sun burn. It's almost like modern art.
