Other blogger's talk about their blogs "going dark" (hi, Bou!), but my blog is going grey. I am posting here and there, but the umph is gone.
For now.
I am now on round three for me feet. During the first round, he gave me some anti-inflamitory steriods. I took that for 5 days with out any other pain relief. Three of those days the pain was pretty bad, the last two a little better.
Second round: A cortisone shot in my right foot. It felt better that evening. And a prescription of Celebrex. Typically given to arthritis sufferers, it deals with inflammation and pain. The pain is now manageable.
Third Round: A night splint and recommended weight loss. The night splint does not work. After wearing it for four hours, my toes become numb. I have tried it all different ways, but no luck. I think it is because of the Morton’s Neuroma. Geez! But I am going back in January. If I still have pain then, which I do now, I hope he can do something else.
What is most frustrating about this is there is not a set way to fix it. It is not like breaking an arm. Each person is different; there are many methods of treatment, but none very successful for most.
I have some mild (very mild) turmoil in other areas of my life, but for now they will stay grey.

I understand the grey but have my own reasons for posting every day no matter what... for now. And feet. That sucks. I hope you can get it fixed and for good. I had to have the cortizone shots in my left foot. Nothing I wish to repeat.

I have that same lack of umph feeling. Is it the length of time we've been blogging? Life? I don't know.
I think the only thing they did different for my feet (and yours is obviously a MUCH worse case than what I had) was they wrapped my feet and I had to have some sort of heat therapy every couple days. The wrap was some sort of tape and they rewrapped every time I went in for the heat therapy treatment. I managed to skip the cortizone, but did do Mobic, instead of Celebrex.
Good luck. Man, when your feet are in a bad way, its just bad all over.
