Moment of Bliss

Today we signed Oldest up for soccer since her softball team was cancelled. Youngest will still get to play softball and she had a good practice on Thursday.

After they assessed Oldest, we went to a field and practiced hitting a softball on a batting tee. While one practiced, the other picked flowers.

On to Downtown Fort Worth to check out the Barnes and Noble bookstore before heading to Pizzaria Uno's for lunch.

As we walked to Uno's, I held my youngest's hand and watched my oldest walk in front of me. I could hear my husband behind me. The sun was out, the weather was nice, and all was good at that moment. I had a chance to think how lucky we are. We have our girls in sports, we just bought some books (not having to worry about money), and we were heading to a good lunch.

I am so thankful for all that I have.

Hey, soccer is great!!! Remember to be nice to the referees. We work very hard to make the game fun for kids! (Fort Worth Youth Soccer?)

I'm jealous that you can go to Uno's. That was one of my faves in school:)
