« Game 7: Texas 63, Baylor 31 | Main | Be prepared »
We were unable to make the trip to Nebraska and watched the game from home. Sorta. First TIVO did not perform it's job and taped the game on a station we do not get. So when my husband went to watch the game and be able to forward through the comercials, he realized he missed it.
Then the game did not go so well. Even though Texas won - not good. We are not allowed to the say the name of the Offensive Cordinator. He is the reason the score was so close and we almost lost.
The girls ended up staying with the anti-Inlaws since it was in the plans. Friday night we went to dinner. Saturday we lazed around and enjoyed a quiet day (except for the game part). I ended up reading two books, resting, and doing minor cleaning. Very nice.

It was especially disturbing that when Texas had a first and goal on the 2 yard line that offensive coordinator that you spoke of decided to run the ball to the outside instead of putting big Henry Melton in and running behind one of the best offensive lines in the country. I am pretty sur that we could have managed 2 yards with 3 tries...
