This is a test of the mu.nu site!
Big Orange Michael has set up a fantasy football league that is free and has the potential to be fun.? I have never done one of these, but since these guys are cool, it would be a good way to learn.? Big Orange Michael's post about it is here?with full details.
Oh ya, happiness is trying new things!
When we bought our house, we still had a month left on our rent house. So we had more time to move everything while living in the new place. We would go back to the old place to get stuff and move it on over. This is what I am doing now.
My new home is at mu.nu. So for awhile there will be boxes around here and links back to the old blog. Eventually I will move all in, but it is nice to have the luxury of moving slow...
And since the Football season is very close, this blog is renamed to "Texas Football Novice" with a very burnt orange Texas theme! Hook 'em!!!
Only a few days left. This happiness post is mostly for me, but you may get a giggle out of his....
Happiness is.... uh... hubba hubba!
Taking advantage of a great special at Dell ($299) and a nice bonus from work, the girls now have their own computers. Yes, we are now offically a family of geeks with to many computers. Our ratio of people to computers is 1 to 1.5. The girls are very good on the computers, they know how to scroll a web page and find links to games on kid friendly sites. The oldest can even make rainbow colored words in Microsoft Word. Can you imagine having a computer at 4 years old?
When the computers came in my husband took some pictures. The girls were very excited so the pictures are not the best. But they made me laugh.
See the extended entry for the pictures.
Check out this week's Karnival of Kidz hosted at my Mom's!!!!
On our drive to and from work in Dallas, my husband and I listen to Conservative Talk Radio. Both the morning and afternoon show got together and invited the listeners to go and show their support for Bush. Both my anti-MIL and I wanted to go, but we had prior commitments and/or things that had to be done. I think we both kinda feel guilty for not going. Or at least I do.
The media is running stories on this weekend, but it seems like they are downplaying it.
The Ankarlo Morning Show has pictures on his website and a podcast of his interview with a guy who is a Camp Casey infiltrator.
Greg Knapp had Deborah Johns from the "You Don't Speak For Me, Cindy" tour with Move America Forward.com We listened to her on Friday and found out Casey's Uncle had called her and said they do not support Cindy.
This post covers my August Happines Challenge post for today. I am very happy that everyone was able to show their support no matter what side they are on. And I am even more happy that there were more Bush supporters out there than the anti-war protesters.
Oldest (5 yrs): You can be with Jesus in Heaven.
Youngest (4 yrs): Ya, and they will say 'You got to be dead to get in here!'
Big Orange Michael has brought me much happiness this month with his challenge. It was a good reminder of the good things in my life. Since it was not as hard as I figured to come up with something for everyday, I know I have a good life. Plus it is fun being sappy! Surpy sweet! Like honey! And to have an excuse.
Thanks Michael and I know I will be ready for next August!
Ben of Faith and Theology found my blog by searching for blog design help. His design was a challenge since he wanted something simple but lively. We worked out a design that he loves and that I am proud of.
Other blogs I have collaborated with are listed here.
