Quick Blog Tip

With MovableType, you don't have as many formating shortcuts as others. So there are a few things I like to do on a regular basis that I have to manually type in. I really like to have my links open in a new window. This way you can read whatever is in the link and then return to the original blog. This tip will work with any blogging software since it is plain HTML.

Make links open in a new window: After you have put in the URL, add the bold part to your code:

< a href="http://prochienamy.mu.nu" target="_blank" >This is a link

I have added extra spaces to keep the code from actually being used, so you would need only one space after the quote for the link, then put target="_blank". Are you confused?
