Texas beats Rice, 51-10

Since Rice is not as good as Texas, this game was a romp and lost my attention by the end of the 2nd quarter. So not much to say on the game. I read an article where the coach of Rice admitted they played Texas for the money. This year they got $500,000.

A couple we know from Elena's school came up and hung out with us at the tailgates. I think they had a good time. It was fun sharing what we do and it made me realize again how much I enjoy it. And how much I appreciate knowing a lot of people and the long term friendships we are forming. This is the 7th year we have had season tickets. That is a long time for a military brat.
